What happened?

Hey Yo!

It's been over a year since I last posted on here.
I'm not going to make excuses.
I'm just lazy on this blog.
And I'm now in a relationship with the fantastic man pictured above! ^
We know we're adorable.
And perfect for each other.
Don't bother telling us.

That's about it.
Ummm... Yep.
I'll try to post some more at some point.

I'm Back!!!

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd let you know I'm back from Allentown, PA! As you know from reading my former post, I went with my youth group to Allentown, Pennsylvania this past week for a mission trip. So I decided to make a list of 10 things I learned from this trip.

1. Always be prepared. You never know what's coming your way.

2. NEVER trust a teenage boy in the laundry room with his buddies to watch your clothes, they will most likely play a prank.

3. ALWAYS check your peanutbutter for toilet water after someone tells you to eat it.

4. Give people a chance. This one was extremely tough for me this week, but I don't regret doing it. I made some pretty amazing friends by hanging out with people I usually would've avoided.

5. Be as tough, if not tougher, than the guys while playing ultimate frisbee or any other game. It really does impress them sometimes. (Especially if your like me & kept playing on a severly sprained ankle.)

6. Forgive. This one kind of goes with number 4. One of the friends I made on this trip hurt one of my best friends really badly. But after giving him a chance & forgiving him for what he had done to her, he turned out to be pretty cool.

7. You can never talk with God to often. He's always there to listen & help you through things that you can't do on your own. Even if you don't think you're strong enough, He knows you are & He will push you to see how far you're willing to go.

8. Take TONS of pictures. Even if they look really dumb, they'll always keep the memories alive.

9. Ignore all of the drama. I feel like Satan tried to involve me in some different petty girl drama this week to get me off focus of why I was there. But again, you can never talk to God to often, & God handled it for me. "The Lord will fight for you, You only need to be still." Exodus 14:14

10. Last but definitely not least, don't be afraid of anything. God is bigger than all of it. & If you have God on your side, what is there to really be scared of? Try something new. I know I did! I traveled 10 hours away without my parents for a whole week for the first time ever. & since I have God on my side, I knew I could do anything I wanted to.

"I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me." -Philippians 4:13

I Promise to post pictures later!

Lyric Tuesdays

Days all bleed into one another, lately. My brain is strained and I got no direction, maybe, you should pick up all the pieces off the ground, to this puzzle overtakin' people down, down, down.
Now you'd better break all the windows,  hotwire my heart.  You are the cables, when I fall apart. And I'm goin' nowhere, if this battery dies. In a blink of an eye, we'll be bending time.
whoa whoa....
And I've been drained from all of your affection, lately. But I can't complain you're the queen of all deception, maybe, we should look at all these faces in the crowd, when I smile until your curtain is comin' down, down, down.
Now you'd better break all the windows,  hotwire my heart.  You are the cables, when I fall apart. And I'm goin' nowhere, if this battery dies. In a blink of an eye, we'll be bending time.
This building's at capacity, this bomb's a ticking tragedy. I've got no philosophy, just pleading for this scenery to change, and for me to say...
Now you'd better break all the windows,  hotwire my heart.  You are the cables, when I fall apart. And I'm goin' nowhere, if this battery dies. In a blink of an eye, we'll be bending time.
Now you'd better break all the windows,  hotwire my heart.  You are the cables, when I fall apart. And I'm goin' nowhere, if this battery dies. In a blink of an eye, we'll be bending time.
whoa whoa....
Now you'd better break all the windows,  hotwire my heart.  You are the cables, when I fall apart. And I'm goin' nowhere, if this battery dies. In a blink of an eye, we'll be bending time.
